Senior Manager Employee Brand Marketing

Massage Envy

This is a Full-time position in Scottsdale, AZ posted January 10, 2022.

The Senior Manager of Employee Brand Marketing role is to enhance the employee brand perception, communicate our value proposition and message, while assisting in the development and execution of strategies and plans that support franchisee efforts of recruiting and retention of license massage therapists and estheticians and other location staff.

What We’ll Accomplish Together

Essential Functions

  • Lead employee brand communication and media strategy to support franchisees in attracting and engaging qualified candidates to meet hiring needs.
  • Develop and execute campaigns including performance marketing, media, and PR plans to drive leads and applications.
  • Work collaboratively with internal working groups and key stakeholders on plan development, while gaining alignment on strategic initiatives, plans and budgets.
  • Assist in the execution of research studies, including but not limited to; the National Culture Survey, to increase insights that will help improve employee brand perception, hiring and retention at both the brand level, as well as the location level.
  • Understand the needs of the licensed massage therapists and esthetician employee base and determine best methods for communication with the groups, both internally and externally.
  • Translates insights with franchisee employee base to compelling messaging that attracts new leads.
  • Build and execute the social media strategy for recruitment and employee engagement.

    This includes identifying appropriate social media platforms, objectives, and content to build a best-in-class employee brand experience.

  • Manage relationship and direction of internal team and external vendors/agency partners to create employee brand campaigns and collateral.
  • Drive candidate engagement and employee pride by creating a narrative program that will build awareness to Massage Envy as the employer of choice.
  • Leverage and optimize the Massage Envy Careers website and other technology, including the applicant tracking system to drive leads and hiring.
  • Establish metrics and scorecards to measure the effectiveness of existing and newly implemented strategies, quickly tweaking or recalibrating to ensure results.
  • Partner with internal teammates in working with industry partners such as massage therapy and esthetician schools, research organizations, the AMTA, etc.

    Provide marketing and collateral support for association marketing efforts as needed.

  • Monitor employee brand reviews and develop strategy to increase ratings.
  • Leverage industry partnerships to develop plans to improve brand awareness, perception, hiring, and retention.

    Obtain and utilize new research and information from these partnerships.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in employee brand marketing and recruiting.

    Experience in the health and wellness space is a plus or where employees have licensure requirements.

  • Ideal experience in a medium to large, multi-unit, franchise company.
  • Experience developing and executing employee brand media plans that are performance based.

    Strong understanding of media planning and buying.

  • Critical and strategic thinker who can take insights and ideas and then develop strategy and executable plans.
  • Proven history of being able to think out of the box.

    Has a creative and curious mindset.

  • Tenacious problem solver who is results driven.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.

    Good listener who can influence others.

  • Hands on person, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to achieve success.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can decide and act without having the total picture.
