Senior. Manager Data Products & Quality Controls

Focus:

You will work with Director Data Management & Oversight, issue management, engineering, and business leaders to ensure mitigation of operational risk, card member impact, and elevate data quality to enabler maximum value for the enterprise in terms of reduction of waste, errors, and data optimization.

Works with Directors of Product Delivery, Project Management, and data analytical resources to engage and ensure safe and sound business practices.

Participates in the issue resolution decision-making process with product, engineering, and business, by ensuring provision of information concerning specific operational risks and corrective action plans where a technical resolution is required.

Provides recommendations on re-prioritization of the control plan where necessary.

Monitors and tracks multiple operational risks and supports plan development, coordination, and delivery against quality targets. 

Organizational Context:

Responsible for managing issues and control related data for enterprise acquisition risks held within the Enterprise issue tracking system, support overall resolution process, and mange/own data in solution delivery system. 

Description:

  • Performs deep dive analysis using SQL or excel to identify root cause
  • Strong background and understanding of AML/KYC, Regulatory and Compliance requirements
  • Great coordinative and team leadership skills
  • Display the curiosity needed to truly provide value with strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate issues with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Supports the acquisitions resolution decision-making process, by providing advice on prioritization, coordination, and scheduling 
  • Drives the analysis, definition, plan, and delivery of issue resolution
  • Prioritizing issue resolution based on either card member/business impact, resource availability and/or changing business priorities or business case
  • Has a strong passion for solving problems, risk mitigation, prevention and getting to the bottom of technical problems
  • Provides insight on optimizing issue resolution by understanding priorities, regulations, capacity, technology capabilities and business goals.
  • Using appropriate tools, in engaging with delivery teams 
  • Ensures that all deliverables are supported by an up-to-date business case (i.e.

    project governance) 

  • Using reporting tools, monitors the progress of the issue management portfolio delivery, and ensures timely and effective communication of the status and assessment of risks/issues 
  • Act as primary liaison for issue management between several interested parties, product, technology, business, and regulators
  • Accountable for the acquisitions issue management data
  • Subject matter expert and lead as it relates to issue resolution delivery processes and enterprise expectation management

Education & Experience:

  • REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Information’s Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Informatics, Statistics, or related field 
  • NICE TO HAVE: Master’s Degree in Project Management, Computer information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Informatics, Statistics, or related field
