Reporting to the Director, CRM Strategy and Insights, you will be responsible for creating frameworks, processes and workflows to identify opportunities to test and learn for new CRM programs as well as optimize ongoing ones, helping to engage Sephora clients across the lifecycle and purchase cycle and drive high-value long term behaviors.
nn Develop an insights roadmap in support of the learnings agenda defined by the CRM Strategy and testing teams Serve as analytics lead for the agile CRM testing team “Scrum” by formalizing testing best practices across various channel analytics groups and providing thought leadership around client-centric insights generation that go beyond the “what” and tap into the “why” and “so what” Provide end-to-end analytics support to stakeholders.
This includes pre-campaign discovery analytics, test design, sizing and post-campaign performance and insights reporting.
Create insights driven narratives for CRM led initiatives suitable for a broad range of stakeholders across the company Run deep-dive discovery and post campaign analyses to answer ad-hoc business questions that enhance CRM marketing strategies, create insight, or troubleshoot performance issues Manage relationships with external vendors and Product Management to expand and streamline data pipes to improve the CRM insights generation process and scope Manage and mentor a team of 3 to 4 analysts who can flex between testing analytics, discovery analytics, reporting and dashboarding, and creating insights summaries nn We’re excited about you if you have: nn 5+ years of experience in B2C marketing or client analytics Ability to review large amounts of data and provide strategic and actionable inferences and recommendations based on patterns and trends Fluent in SQL to be able to lead more complex data work and to coach and develop more junior team members Experience with managing direct reports and an interest in developing an analyst team Expertise in experiment design, A/B and multi-variate testing Experience with A/B testing and BI tools (e.g.
APT Test & Learn, Adobe Target, Optimizely, Tableau) Ability to balance deep analytical rigor with business reality, marketing activation capabilities and timelines to build solutions that are both practical and reliable Understanding of statistical modeling and quantitative analysis techniques Excellent attention to detail, written and oral communication skills Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners at all levels Flexible and adaptive, enjoys an ever-changing, dynamic work environment Comfortable with ambiguity Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects Intellectual curiosity and willingness to accept feedback Not afraid to fail, gain insights and apply to future nn You’ll love working here because: nn The manifesto.
