This entails working with CAD sales, product management, finance and marketing teams to identify and execute high impact product category and field based initiatives.
The position will have responsibility for our internal and external channels growth goal for the division’s products and services and will maximize activities in new product launches, industry segment strategies, key accounts, and field collaboration activities around the globe.

If so, read onWhat you will do:Interact and maintain relationships with key channels to market to promote the CAD products and services.Understand who the key players are in each channel and fostering a relationship to drive growthMonitor market dynamics and understand competitors for CADWork closely with other functional areas within Thermo Fisher Scientific to collaborate, gain support and assistance in execution of channel business/market plans; i.e.
Commercial Directors, Marketing, Product Management, Operations.Ensure BU and Commercial leadership business needs are addressed and communicated with Channels in a timely manner.Collaborate with others and use influence to lead peers and channel partnersPartnering with Sr Director Channels, create channel business plans to identify key areas of growth potential and strategy to capture both short and long term growth.Conduct robust quarterly and monthly business reviews to assess growth targets or variances to planDevelop processes to identify category shortfalls within specific product categories and institute measures to improve performanceEstablish achievable growth targetsKnow how to get market assessment information and have the flexibility to actSupport annual budget / AOP developmentDevelop an annual channel marketing plan that supports growth initiativesEstablish appropriate sales targets for each channel with input from each business unitProvide a monthly report and track metrics to AOPCreate and implement programs that drive revenue improvementWork within existing processes and establish new processes where applicable.Support the development and deployment a global strategy for channel managementOther duties as requiredHow you will get here:Education:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Sciences, Engineering or BusinessMBA preferred.Experience:7 years’ experience in sales, specifically several years with channelsExperience in Product Services preferredProven ability to complete projects and demonstrate successAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed, multi-site environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Travel estimated at 50% of time, both domestic and internationalExperience in direct/distribution sales and marketing (2 years minimum).Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysis.Ability to plan, gain consensus and execute a project to completion and success.Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental relationships.Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative and good business judgment and attitude.Strong organizational and time management skills.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 80,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
