Reporting to the Director, IT Strategy and Change, the Senior IT Strategic Partnerships Manager will help drive the strategic formation and execution of key IT partnership strategies.

This role serves the IT Leadership Team, which is accountable for delivering world-class IT solutions, support, and thought leadership to the Nutrien organization.

What you will do:

• Partner with IT Senior Leadership team on developing and executing sourcing and strategic partnership strategies and action plans

• Identify, source, lead, and direct, where appropriate, key strategic vendor relationships addressing performance, risks, costs, contractual issues, and innovation

• Drive transparency and visibility into the vendor/partner relationships through the design and follow through of vendor scorecards and key performance indicators

• Serve as a consultant to the Leadership team on all issues related to strategic sourcing and strategic vendor management

• Lead future roadmap for strategic efforts with our key strategic partners

• Provide guidance and coaching to strategic partners regarding performance and intelligence related to the technology landscape and strategies.

• Scout and identify sourcing and cost savings opportunities to pursue optimization of strategic vendor contracts

• Facilitate innovation and operational excellence through our sourcing efforts

• Provide strategic support and consultation across the IT function

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or another relevant field

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with vendor sourcing and partnerships

• 10+ years of experience in process improvement, transformation, or strategic roles

• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization

• Strategic and flexible thinker implementing timely and workable solutions in a post-merger dynamic environment

• Excellent financial acumen

• Excellent contract analysis and negotiation experience

• Experience working in complex and dynamic environments

• Exceptional listening and interpretation skills to successfully translate IT’s leadership needs into expected outcomes

• Effective writing skills with broad range of experience from crafting strategic messaging to communicating details on technology matters

• Demonstrated ability to produce results in a dynamic, outcome-focused environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $96,600
– $138,000 USD. This range is estimated for Senior IT Strategic Partnerships Manager in Loveland, CO.

Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
