Senior Implementation Consultant

Overview of PositionThe Implementation Consultant is responsible for current workflow analysis and development; documenting, planning and implementation of future state workflow and customer training.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Conduct Current State Workflow Analysis; design Future State Workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process Workflow)Determine application optimization within the department and provide the customer with Best Practice methodologiesAnalyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training; accordingly, develop training plans and documentation Coordinate and provide Superuser application training; ensure that all Super Users have the ability to train customer End Users and understand any unique customer site requirementsProvide Application Training and support to other staff from other groups as required; identify, file and follow-up Product Features and issue requests during implementationWhat are the requirements needed for this position?Registered Sonographer: Echo and/or Vascular (RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS)5+ years of recent experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate complex ideas in an understandable mannerExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Presentation and Training abilities to a wide variety of audiencesIndependent, Self-starter, self-directedStrong Customer Service skillsDemonstrates the confidence in the ability to articulate recommendations to the customerWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Strong understanding of Clinical Environment and Health Care OperationsBachelor’s Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, and/or Health Sciences a plusThe familiarity with document/registry standards and credentialing such as JCAHO, ICAEL, ICAVL and ICANLNuclear Medicine and/or Cath Lab experience a plusKnowledge of medical communication protocols a plus (i.e., DICOM / HL7/XML)Experience with Medical Imaging, Knowledge of Databases, informatics and/or Enterprise-class Information Systems a plusEligibility for Department of Defense clearance access where requiredSecurity Plus CertificationWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? Ability to travel unrestricted to customer sites throughout North AmericaOvernight hotel staysHow much should I expect to travel?Up to or exceeding 75% based on business need.
