About the role
As Chime continues to grow, Data Science, AI and Machine Learning are going to be some of the core technologies supporting that growth.
One of the most critical aspects of any ML driven company is to have high quality data for its models and policies and this role will focus on enabling that for all of Chime.
We are looking for a seasoned product manager to build out Chime’s Machine Learning Feature Store, Ground Truth Label Store and other Data Products as key components for not just Chime’s ML platform but for all of Chime.
You’ll partner closely with many cross-functional teams to tackle Chime’s most challenging Data problems in the areas of fraud detection and mitigation, credit risk assessment, and automating delightful member experiences, just to name a few.
The right candidate is comfortable with the basics of data technologies (Databases, Big Data, Kafka, Spark etc) as well as different aspects of the data lifecycle (Source/Ingestion, Processing, Storage, Serving/APIs, Discovery, Catalog, Governance, Security etc).
The candidate will work closely with ML engineers, Data Platform and Infrastructure teams to build data products that will be used for Chime’s business rules, policies and ML models.
For Colorado based roles : In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $149,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below).
The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
