Our Senior Director of Product Management is responsible for leading a team of product managers as they build out the future of STChealth’s immunization and disease surveillance and monitoring platform.
This involves shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that new features meet the current and future needs of our clients and our business, and our end-users.
You’ll be able to provide thought leadership, helping to define and implement STChealth’s next generation of tools, processes, and products.
You will therefore make a significant impact to not only STChealth and our customers, but also on the lives of people and communities globally, by better expediting population health outcomes..
This position reports to the Vice President, Customer Experience.
This position will lead approximately 9-10 direct reports and partner heavily with Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success and other teams to grow and evolve our Public Health, Pharmacy/Provider and Consumer business.
This role is recognized company wide as a thought leader within Product and requires broad expertise in leading-edge product techniques and/or new technologies..
As our Senior Director of Product, you will introduce industry best practices, tools, and processes to support operational excellence, with particular emphasis on creating best-in-class capabilities for product planning and roadmap execution.
You will oversee and work closely with design and UX research leadership to further refine our product development processes, ensuring a customer-first approach that leans heavily into design thinking and research insights.
You will also partner with engineering on delivery processes and evolving those processes to align with industry best practices for agile planning and development, and support product managers in day-to-day prioritization and roadmap development with focus on strategy alignment and portfolio management..
What You Will Do.
Continuously engage with members of the immunization & disease monitoring community to truly understand the market.
Using STC’s business goals and forward-looking industry expertise as foundational items, develop a forward-looking (multi-year) product strategy for STC’s Intelligent Information Network (IIN)..
Own the full lifecycle of the product portfolio from conceptualization, business case development, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation, review, roll-out, optimization, and through to retirement..
Ensure the team is delivering on targeted financial, strategic, and operational mid to long-term commitments..
Provide Business Development and partner enablement tools and collateral in an Agile product lifecycle..
Formulate and measure product analytics to ensure on-going product performance and customer satisfaction..
Participate in developing business / investment cases to support the product line in partnership with corporate strategy, finance, engineering, marketing, business development, and customer success..
Maintain an understanding of competitive position, target market and overall industry landscape that supports the work to define and create product(s)..
Leverage advanced understanding of our product capabilities and product offerings to inform and help guide our overall product strategy in a rapidly changing market..
Actively develop talent within the product organization and create bench strength for all product teams..
Lead and resolve business issues or problems that have business-wide impact..
Engage and participate regularly in strategic customer briefings, industry events and industry analyst communication..
About You.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Healthcare, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years’ experience in software product management.
Experience leading product management of high availability SaaS solutions.
Proven track record leading professional product teams with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Deep understanding of methods for best determining customer needs that can be solved by technologies.
Applies advanced leadership experience building and leading high performing teams that consistently meet or exceed team and business goals in a fast-paced organization.
Deep knowledge of delivery products with Lean, Agile with Scrum.
Deep experience in design, development and implementation of product plans.
Deep experience in conducting competitive research and analysis.
Extremely strong at executive presentations (framing arguments, design of information, presence when presenting).
