Senior Director IP Validation Strategy

Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly individual to help us develop and deliver world class silicon technology for our customers.

This role requires breadth and depth in IP and SOC design, define and develop collaterals for the IP through various stages of the IP and SOC development, in depth knowledge of tools and flows to be used in the IP and SOC development, prepare pre and post silicon validation plans, feature management and staging, drive execution teams to deliver against metrics, develop risk management plans and ensure a timely availability of the design to proceed to the post silicon stage.

Develop post silicon validation plans, analyze gaps in validation between standalone IP validation as opposed to what is needed for validation in the SOC environment.

The role involves understanding of metrics for yield, power, performance and area among other things and make recommendations to close the gaps.

It also involves thorough partnership and collaboration with all key stakeholders and have the ability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

The individual is expected to collaborate with engineering, sales and product teams, technology development, IP, SOC and platform engineering teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Establishing best in class tools and flows for IPs covering various market segments
• Preparing pre and post silicon validation plans, feature management and staging
• Establishing metrics for qualifying IPs and driving execution teams to deliver against metrics
• Developing risk management plans and ensuring timely availability of the design to proceed to the post silicon stage
• Developing and establishing post silicon validation plans, analyzing gaps in validation in a testchip as opposed to that in the SOC environment
• Establishing metrics for yield, power, performance and area among other things and make recommendations to close the gaps
• Thorough partnership and collaboration with all key stakeholders and have the ability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Collaboration with engineering, sales and product teams, technology development, IP, SOC and platform engineering teams.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 15+ years experience with IP and SOC Design and Development and Validation.
