Department Description:
The Customer Success Group’s (CSG) Offer Management team is a product management organization that productizes and monetizes the CSG capabilities that will help customers realize business value from their Salesforce technology investment.

This team is a “messenger of the market” to the rest of the CSG organization, identifying the best market segments and opportunities for success offers.

We maintain a multi-year roadmap for our portfolio, develop research-backed business cases for offer development and positioning, and manage the entire portfolio from design to end of life.

We adhere to a governance framework to effectively manage and coordinate cross-functional work.

Once offers are launched, we measure offer performance and identify changes to improve the experience customers and Salesforce employees have with our offers.

Role Description:
At Salesforce, the role of the CSG Solution Advisor requires a combination of solution selling, business acumen, technical ability, and teaming.

You will leverage these skills to attach Success plans to our largest and most complex customers.

The successful candidate will be leading a team of CSG Solution Advisors aligned to a territory responsible for driving the attach and bookings of Signature & Premier Success plans.

In this role you will serve as a player-coach, actively working with cross functional team members to solve challenging customer problems and coordinating internal / external resources effectively.

The role will cover current and legacy products from our portfolio of subscription services Success Plans (subscription-based technical support offerings
– Signature Success, Priority Support, MCS, Legacy Signature plan, Technical Account Manager and Proactive Monitoring offerings).

Your Impact:
Success will be measured by the overall performance of the assigned Territory for Premier & Signature Success sales performance.

  • Achieve and exceed targets for both Premier & Signature Success plans across bookings, attach, upgrades, and conversions.
  • Build relationships with Sales & CSG leadership, including Account Executives, RVPs and AVPs, to review territories and identify strategies and opportunities to attach Premier & Signature Success plans.
  • Operational rigor around forecast accuracy, team performance, and territory performance required.
  • Team effectively with other parts of the organization, including, Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Account Partners, Sales Operations, Pricing Deal Desk, Sales Productivity, Marketing, Legal, CSG Regional Leaders, Customer Success Managers, Portfolio Success Managers, Technical Support, and Product Management to address and resolve customer or sales issues

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 10-15+ years experience in Sales, Marketing or Services (consulting, technical support or training) required.
  • Strong technical background with ability to understand complex technical & business environments.
  • Demonstrable understanding of mission critical support processes with enterprise customers
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging with enterprise customers cross functionally and varying levels of seniority up to & including C suite executives.
  • Experience of building & delivering business value cases and presenting to customer
  • Sales experience with a track record of managing a large territory and exceeding targets is a +

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $159,300.
