Security Senior Manager – Security Lead – Lexington, KY – SOF GLSS

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS), is seeking a Security Senior Manager for a large services contract that includes several facility locations and classified programs.

Responsibilities include:

– Direct oversight of all security efforts for the SOF GLSS program; including the main Lexington campus and offsite locations, both in the U.S.

and international locations.

– Drive Security strategy and process/procedure throughout the SOF GLSS program.

– As a member of the senior management team, build lasting relationships with program and functional managers to ensure program needs are met.

– Maintain strong communication channels with overall MFC Security Leadership.

– Provide oversight/management, performance management, career development, etc.

for direct reporting employees.

– Prime manager for contract guard force.

– Oversight of the national industrial security program, AIS (network, standalone and test equipment), Closed Areas, visitor reception, classification management, contract security specification administration, COMSEC operations, security education and awareness, investigations, asset protection, access control, UL alarm systems, CCTV systems, and supervision of a contract security guard force.

Provide oversight of the AA&E program to include a Closed Area, and numerous storage vaults.

– Ensure compliance with company and government security regulations.

Formulate security policy and procedures.

Address and solve security problems with all levels of employees and customer representatives.

– Prepare budget input and manage procurement of services and equipment.

– Oversee the Crisis Management program.

– Maintain a liaison with local law enforcement and counter-intelligence officials.

– Must have proven experience building and sustaining teams and the ability to implement the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives and to prioritize/set realistic goals that meet business objectives.

– Capable of critical project management, organizational and internal/external customer service and support.

– Must be able to respond to time critical requirements.

This position is located in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Program Executive Office for Special Operations Forces Support Activity (PEO-SOFSA) is responsible for executing USSOCOM’s largest service contract vehicle, which provides a wide range of tailored contractor logistics support services to the Command’s Special Operations Forces service components and warfighters worldwide.

As the SOF GLSS prime contractor for SOFSA, Lockheed Martin provides the full range of logistics services required to meet SOFSA’s mission to support the SOF community.

Basic Qualifications:
Prior demonstrated management/leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of corporate industrial security protocol.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team oriented environment and communicate directly with audiences at all levels of management, customers, and employees.

Superior customer and mission focused skills.

Must have knowledge of special security requirements to include SCI, Personnel Security, and Physical Security.

Must be FSO certified or the ability to obtain certification upon employment.

Must possess a secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communications skills.

Desired Skills:
Lockheed Martin Security experience beneficial.

Experience with service contracts with classified requirements, and issuing DD-254s to flow classified requirements to subcontractors.

Experience with classified systems.

Experience in/with the following: Guard Force Management, Crisis Management, Case Management, CCTV and access control systems.

Familiarity with DoD 5100.76M (AA&E), UL 2050, and ATF requirements preferred.

Familiarity with JPAS/DISS, SIMS, and NISS beneficial.
