SW Regional Hub Logistics Manager
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: SW Hub Director
Location: Pheonix, AZ
Responsibilities
Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals
Conducts interviews and makes hiring recommendations
Plans, organizes and directs the installation and utilization of warehouse management and inventory information systems (SAP)
Manages and directs research selection, implementation, evaluation and improvement of applicable systems.
Oversees training of employees on warehouse management and inventory systems to ensure maximum efficient and capacity.
Establishes schedules and methods for providing effective and timely project management support; develops project tracking and status reporting systems; prepares various reports on status of shipping and inventory operations and activities.
Assists with development and implementation of warehousing budget; prepares and administers project budgets; prepares cost estimates; submits justifications for budget requests; monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget
Aids other logistics team members at Trulieve to lead the inbound/outbound logistics and supply chain for a multi-site, multi-state manufacturing and distribution network
Communicate/coordinate across multiple functions: retail operations, technology, merchandising, procurement, supply chain operations, finance, and executive management
Manage the development and execution of projects at optimal cost, highest quality, and punctual timelines, consistent with logistics, store operations and business needs
Travel to plants, distribution hubs, and other locations for project development and execution with other logistics members
Tasked to upgrade the skill set, effectiveness, and efficiency within the department through people development, process improvement and expansion of technology
Foster a winning culture and process driven environment, to motivate a team to deliver success consistently
Utilize data to drive decision making and continuous improvement
Exhibit an Extreme Ownership mentality over your duties and department
Lead budget management, financial analysis, reporting standards and performance measurement communication that provides visibility and guidance for operations team and leadership
Oversee safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Make sure that inventory is accounted for and that all virtual warehouses in SAP are properly controlled and maintained
Requirements:
B.S Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Logistics Management or similar experience (5 years+ in Logistics and Inventory Management)
Functional understanding of ERP Systems (SAP preferred)
Prior knowledge of material and inventory planning (MRP)
Ability to manage and communicate effectively
