Responsibilities * Provides support to Functional SMEs on their team to design/configure/maintain business processes in ERP/SAP. * Responsible for designing/configuring business processes in SAP. Requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP functional areas. * They will support a variety of needs including participating in business requirements development and analysis and configuration activities as well as supporting administrative needs (i.e. meeting minutes, reporting, documentation). * Modules included but not limited to: FM, FI, WFM, SD, PS, AM, CO, MM, SD, WM, IM, SMD, SCM(APO) * We are looking for a vareity of SAP skills * SAP FI (Financial Accounting) – experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FI * SAP financial functional areas especially BOBJ – work involves running reports to validate no issues, testing process chain, validating data loads come across and working with SCM FLIRR Team * SAP HR/Workforce Mgmt – provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design and audit readiness; experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP HR * SAP AM (Asset Mgmt) – experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP AM; experience in post go-live production support and break/fix * SAP APO / Supply Chain Mgmt – APO (Advanced Planner & Optimizer)experience including Planning FLIRR (Financial and Logistics Integrated Requirements Reporting), Planning CIF Core Interface or Demand planning * SAP FM (Funds Mgmt) – Candidate must have expertise with MM, SD, and FI to integrate functionality * SAP Testing Automation – Experience in SAP ASAP Methodology and Federal Government testing requirements preferred. Candidate should also have prior experience in working with HP ALM and in the implementation of automated testing tools. Worksoft certification preferred. Large Commercial Client and/or Public Sector experience – DoD preferred; Testing in support of 3 full lifecycle implementations or major releases * SAP BW (Business Warehouse) – experience in RICE, BI Portal, and SAP integration through internet & mobile technologies; responsibilities include process chain configuration, monitoring, and error resolution * SAP CO (Controlling) – lead design of CO interfaces, conversion programs, reports, and enhancements; experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP CO to: manage the Navy’s flow of cost and revenue * SAP PS (Project Systems)- experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP PS to support the planning, control and monitoring of programs/projects Qualifications The following Qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role: * Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise * Associates Degree together with two (2) years of documented relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree. * 1+ years knowledge of or exposure to relevant financial or supply chain business processes through Internships and academic qualifications or projects. Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. * Performs work that requires practical experience and training. * Provides functional subject matter expertise in areas such as financial management, inventory management, supply planning, provisioning, maintenance, transportation, and personnel. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems. * Work is performed under general supervision. * Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix. * Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills. * Secret clearance or ability to obtain an interim Preferred Experience: * Four (4) or more years of SAP experience. * Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area. * Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred. * Requires strong organization and communication skills. * Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. * Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. * Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. * Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. * Plans and leads major technology assignments. * Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. * Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. * May supervise others.
