Sales Manager

TRC Electronics

This is a Full-time position in Doylestown, PA posted November 22, 2021.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the sales manager is to oversee, lead and drive the development of Power Sales Specialists and Power Sales Representatives in an assigned team.

In addition, a sales manager is responsible for developing project based business in an assigned territory by building customer relationships and effectively communicating with customers via account visits, virtual meetings, telephone, text, video & email.

We have a turnkey sales process.

We provide new sales managers all of our sales operations manuals during onboarding.

Then we train new sales managers on all of the processes and to continue to invest in their leadership development.

Starting base salary is $70k + amazing commission program with clear opportunities for further advancement.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Lead and grow the assigned sales team members through each phase of the employee lifecycle including: interviewing prospective team members, on-boarding new hires and developing aspirational high performers.
Create effective strategic plans in assigned region to win at a high closing rate for complex and competitive orders and project opportunities
Align the team’s Personal, Professional and Financial goals to the strategic goals of our organization
Visit client accounts throughout the assigned region
Demonstrate expertise and mastery in the sales management function by training daily to strengthen and increase leadership, product, industry and sales skills
Be an influential contributing member of the Sales Team in revenue, culture, and brand image.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
5 years of sales experience in the electronics industry
3 years of sales leadership experience in the electronics industry
Strong leadership skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Position may require travel: Up to 25%
