Sales Manager – Bronze Product Group

nnThe Sales Manager
– Bronze Product Group defines the strategy and implements the operational plans for his organization and is responsible for its overall success.

S/He will hire, train, lead, and manage the Bronze Product dealer sales network.

The position holder has to strengthen, develop and motivate a strong sales team.

S/He has to ensure the overall sales and profitability success of the organization while minimizing operational risk.nn nn n nn nnSpecifically, the Sales Manager
– Bronze Product Group will be responsible for:nn nn Conceptual/Strategic Tasks nn Development of product, client, and market relationships which is orientated on product sales growth.

Implementation of growth strategies by anticipating trends and future demands.

nn Leadership nn Responsible for developing the structure and organization of the US sales process for Bronze level products.

Create the most effective path to market by finding, developing, and training third party sales resources in the form of a dealer network that will initiate and maintain a significant level of sales volume.

Lead all sales activities in accordance with overall business objectives, business plan and annual budget as well as instructions given by Senior Management at both the Regional and Group levels.

Improve and optimize processes and policies in support of organizational sales goals Evaluate the performance of the sales staff to fulfil organizational requirements Continuous monitoring and control of ongoing sales opportunities, and rapid intervention to significant under-performance.

nn Financial nn Actively manage and control the US sales operation for Bronze level products in order to meet or exceed the order entry and net profitability goals as defined in the yearly budget.

nn Customer focus nn Create a new market niche for Bronze level products in markets that currently purchase other technologies such as light plasma and waterjet.

Personal support of sales staff in difficult negotiations.

Make sure that customer contracts are managed.

Take ultimate responsibility for the effective delivery, installation, and payment of all projects.

Work with current company back office to order machines, maintain stock, and make sure that a good balance between customer needs and inventory requirements is met.

nn Managing People nn Develop and maintain an excellent third party sales team and process to maximize sales success.

Set challenging objectives and break down into individual team goals Support, Coach and challenge the local Sales Team(s).

Establish territory and regional sales goals, including monitoring, measuring and adjusting sales areas and goals to ensure complete balanced coverage and sales of all company products.

Conducts performance evaluations according to company policy Provides training, coaching and motivation to sales teams in support of business objectives, company policies and sales programs.

Teaches and reviews effective sales techniques to improve all areas of sales performance.

Ensure adherence to corporate culture.

nn Sales Activities nn Conduct monthly and annual sales meetings to produce forecasts to be shared with management Negotiate and close transactions Plan and execute sales events to increase sales funnel activity Frequent visits with the sales team to develop relationships with customers and prospects Act as one of the company”s primary Brand Champions to the market Monitor competitive entries to the market and develop a sales process that not only will compete but will continually create success against lower priced competition.

Interface with the Bronze Product Group Service Manager to meet customer needs for installation, warranty, and to assure overall customer satisfaction is maintained.

nn Monitoring/Reporting nn Establish, measure, manage and report on monthly Sales KPIs Monthly and Yearly Sales Budget of the US market Monitor performance and implement improvements nn Communication nn Provide marketing with data, information, and feedback so they can best support sales efforts in the USA.

Knowledge of operation & sales excellence best practices, standards and procedures nn Educational nn Technical, Marketing, and/or economic studies nn Professional nn A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position, ideally in sales of machine tools (investment goods) as well as sales know-how in capital goods required.

Experience in the start-up of a new market and product offering extremely desirable.

Capital Equipment sales cycle experience MS Office products CRM nn Personal nn Entrepreneurial spirit.

Excellent negotiation skills Proven history of top performer Highly disciplined individual; capable of working independently Self-motivated individual.
