Sales Consultant

Cakes By Gina, LLC, a shop that is dedicated to making our clients cake dreams come true, is looking for professional sales consultants to work with our clients during pre-scheduled appointments to discuss, design and purchase specialty cakes and deserts, including but not limited to, wedding, anniversary and other “life event” moments.

As a Cake Sales Consultant, you will be the real face of our brand as you are the most important person our customers will have contact with.

You will help them build their dream cake and ensure that our back of house staff has all the details necessary to make it come true!

Your job will be to engage our customers in the Cakes By Gina experience, which is unsurpassed customer service and top quality is what we delivery for each order.

From basic phone consultations to private tastings with champagne, you will be the key to our customers really understanding the Cakes By Gina way.

High-end customer service and excellent communication skills are a must, so we expect high quality verbal and written communication skills for describing our products and drawing examples to writing detailed invoices and contracts.

Your Responsibilities:
Participate in our sales training program as you memorize our flavor descriptions and product variations, event schedule, FAQs and more.

Work with your clients from beginning to end, from first taste through the proposal and contracting process.

Maintain accurate records of your prospective clients, current clients and previous clients in our database Maintain accurate financial accounts of each order from proposal through final payment on the account.

Requirements: Availability from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday Professional appearance Must attend Open House and Special Events as needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be very detail oriented Strong organizational skills Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills Must be able to speak, read and write in English Strong customer service skills Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite Apps Some artistic ability to render drawings of concepts for customers
Preferred:
Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) 1 year of reception or admin experience
