The Role This role will be part of the Corporate Risk Management team that supports various aspects of Fidelity’s Risk Management Programs.
The team engages with our business partners across Fidelity in a variety of ways, including project management, risk reporting, data analytics/aggregation, supporting initiatives to further strengthen Fidelity’s control environment, and implementing new programs to further protect Fidelity and our customers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelors’ Degree required 5 years’ proven experience preferred, including some Risk Management, Audit or Compliance activities Demonstrated leadership or project management experience Aptitude to craft, develop and execute significant monthly reporting for Senior Management and risk partners which summarizes root cause trending, analysis and updates regarding associated risk initiatives and key deliverables; takes proactive action to forward manage any risks to delivery before milestones become critical Inquisitive problem solver, capable of researching and evaluating risk issues and related trends Ability to develop and present risk mitigation opportunities by highlighting trends and other related events of potential areas which may warrant additional focus for further discovery Familiarity with risk management disciplines and the practical application of sound risk practices Proficiency in PowerPoint a plus Ability to create Senior Management Level presentations Self-directed and skilled at operating autonomously to achieve results in a fast-paced business environment Superb verbal and written communications skills Attention to detail Must thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs Outstanding relationship management and facilitation skills; customer service orientation Strong standout colleague and collaborator; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers Ability to influence others to complete the task and to leverage different parts of the organization Creative problem solving and curiosity fueled by current technology and risk-related trends Collaborative and possesses the ability to work with stakeholders and internal business partners to motivate change, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management processes Commitment to learn and apply new technological tools, and the ability to recover from failures quickly and having learned something from the experience Able to effectively prioritize day-to-day responsibilities and longer-term projects in a fast-paced environment Accountability for delivering results in an accurate and timely manner Effective communication, both written and verbal
