Create a positive, inclusive work environment, and ensure open communication among leaders and associates.Lead and champion our elements of the reliability plan to include Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Work Management / PM Optimization, Lubrication, Vibration, Alignment, Bolting / Fastening, Operator Driven Reliability (ODR), and Management of Change (MOC).Actively assesses opportunities to incorporate predictive maintenance techniques and technology into current equipment maintenance strategies to reduce unscheduled downtimeStay current with new equipment and technology and updated maintenance methodsLearn and appreciate the importance of service quality, service delivery and flawless job executionCoach & train others on process improvement techniques and skillsUse business systems to analyze the effectiveness of technical solutions and capture knowledge sharingCollaborate with other facilities in best practices & key learnings.Actively work on capital improvement projectsDrive optimization of the site PM process – review weekly PM’s, updating job steps/plans, create/delete PM’s as needed for new and existing equipment/modifications.Track weekly & monthly key operating metrics (i.e. run rates, uptime, cost) & identify plans to close appropriate gaps.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D5 Years Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or Reliability Engineering experienceProven commitment to safety and safety initiativesEvident business leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate vision and strategy to various audiencesCollaborative and inclusive leadership styleAbility to develop and nurture strong relationshipsStrong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skillsStrong decision and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiencesAbility to work independently without close supervision or in a team environmentExtensive knowledge and experience with reliable maintenance methodsExperience with a computerized maintenance system (e.g., SAP)Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and basic PLC (Allen Bradley) programming/troubleshootingKnowledge of general manufacturing processesWillingness to work weekends and holidays when operating conditions requireAbility to physically perform requirements of working in a 24/7 operating facility, to include ability to work in extreme temperatures and be ambulatory in an industrial environment with catwalks and uneven surfaces The following qualifications are preferred:Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Reliability Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience and/or degree.Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), or equivalent or ability to obtain and hold certification from an accredited institution or industry-recognized source that include:Manufacturing Reliability Practices and/or LeadershipVibration: ISO Cat I and Cat II Vibration AnalysisLubrication: MLT I/ MLA I and MLA IIExperience in sawmill manufacturingIs a competent practitioner of LEAN process optimization practices and uses these skills to participate in and lead LEAN continuous improvement projects.Previous experience with project management, to include small capital projectsKnowledge of Access or Oracle, SAP, MS Schedule, MS Project, or other scheduling softwareAbout Wood ProductsWe’ve been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
