Job Description & Qualifications
Job Summary
• Responsible for leading the development and execution of the Trades and Contractor markets.
Develop strong infrastructure and facilitate channel management for offerings to drive sales growth.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
• Manages the field and in-house sales functions for vertical markets.
Expands national sales team to acquire and manage key accounts.
• Defines and manages annual and monthly sales objectives.
• Creates a sustainable sales platform for future growth and expansion.
• Coordinates with Marketing to produce key sales proposals, trade show events, and general marketing/support collateral.
• Partners with services and strategy/channel development to drive specialized sales within vertical lines.
• Optimizes product purchases to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.
• Partners with Operations to ensure appropriate inventory management and product delivery strategies.
Nature and Scope
• Problems are complex and difficult.
Solutions require complicated, extensive analysis and detailed investigation.
• Sets or changes the operational plans/goals of an area/business.
• Leads major business processes or support functions to execute company strategies.
Work Environment
• Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
Generally 10+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact.

• At least 10 years related industry experience evidencing successful development and implementation of sales strategies and effective sales goal management.
• Bachelors degree in related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Direct experience managing a sales team in one or more vertical markets.
