We are currently seeking a Regional Traffic Management Center Supervisor to lead a team in the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) in Chipley, FL.

You will be overseeing Traffic Operators in managing communications, coordination, and responses to traffic incidents, FDOT personnel, Florida Highway Patrol, and emergency responses.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and train Traffic Operators, including management and development of schedules
• Develop training programs, recommendations for policies, and procedures
• Employ software applications to control ITS, monitor traffic flow and perform data analysis
• Produce progress reports and matrices, while ensuring accuracy of all data
• Partake in continuous supervision of the 24/7 RTMC operation, including ability to work alternate work schedules and be on-call

Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Pass a mandatory drug screen and Florida State Law Enforcement (SLERS) National fingerprint criminal background check prior employment.
• Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation systems (ITS)
• Strong communication, leadership, and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of dispatch supervisory experience in incident management/emergency response agency
• Knowledge of SunGuide Software and related systems
• Skills in the use of freeway management and ATMS applications.
