Global Packaging company developing injection molded plastic products with specialized IML.

Description

The Director of Sales & Marketing should have extensive experience within Packaging and a track record of success managing packaging product sales to national and large multinational companies in this space.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will report to the General Manager of North America and is a key member of the Leadership team. The candidate would be preferably located in NJ or the TriState area.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will directly manage:

  • A team of Sales Reps and Marketing
  • Evaluate, lead, mentor, develop and manage sales team
  • Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets
  • Evaluate market needs as well as competitive landscape to drive marketing strategy and product innovation
  • Identify, design and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Meet with clients, assist sales team with proposal presentations, support value selling, negotiating and deal closing
  • Manage and track team activity to ensure volume and revenue growth
  • Develop accurate sales forecast to General Manager
  • Set performance goals and manage direct reports accordingly

Profile

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in the Packaging Industry
  • 5+ years experience managing a sales team and creating marketing strategy
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, develop and implement sales & marketing strategies
  • Excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex matters/projects at the same time
  • Demonstrated leadership skills as a sales / Business Development Executive within the packaging industry
  • Proven track record of building, developing and managing a team of sales professionals including accountability and performance management
  • Self-motivated professional managing customers to delivered desired results and ensure customer satisfaction
