nnJOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITESnn nnEstablish and maintain strong internal relationships to drive lending activityResponsible for driving growth by identifying and implementing lending growth opportunities with PWM coverage teamsAdvise clients and advisors on appropriate tailored lending solutions and contribute to our reputation of excellence in executionJoin prospect and client meetings with PWAs to raise awareness of Goldman Sachs Private Bank and the solutions availableAct as first layer of control for new opportunities by pre-screening lending requests and structuring creative loan proposals that work for both the client and Firm.Partnering with our US Underwriting team on submitting credit memos and overall portfolio and risk managementTaking the lead in navigating solutions for initial default situations or at risk accounts within your portfolio.Ensuring effective and consistent compliance to credit and control proceduresManage expectations through strong communication with clients and their PWAsnn nnQUALIFICATIONSnn nnEXPERIENCE & SKILLS /ABILITIESnn nn7+ years’ experience in UHNW lending origination and credit analysis in a private bank or commercial banking organizationExpert knowledge in Commercial Real Estate financing preferredExperience with underwriting other asset classes including securities based loans, structured lending and private equityAbility to advise clients and where appropriate creatively structure sophisticated solutions to help clients meet their objectivesExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented with strong analytical skillsStrong collaboration skills in a team environmentDesire to continue the growth in a dynamic business.Completion of a formal credit training program preferredBachelor’s Degree requirednn
