Eligible participants who are hired while the bonus program is in effect will receive a $1000 bonus, paid in two increments.

As the Quality Supervisor you will establish, implement and maintain the processes for the Quality Management System (QMS).

What you’ll do on a typical day: Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standards Review system for continuous improvement opportunities to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness Review and provide high-level reporting on the quality metrics and performance of the system and make recommendations for improvement Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company audits Post all company quality policies and address training and to make sure they are understood, implemented and maintained at all levels Ensure that facility/departmental training, status and setup is reviewed at the required frequency and that the training requirements are met in a timely manner Execute thorough problem-solving techniques using quality tools, e.g.
5 WHYs, fishbone diagrams, Is / Is not analysis, etc.
Verify corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained Recommend solutions for defects and verify solutions are implemented until corrected Implement quality initiatives (Kaizen, A3, CAPA, calibration program, GEMBA, etc.) and drive a strong quality culture at facilities as required What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: 2 years of relevant work experience Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends It’d be great if you also have: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), material handling equipment and storage medium, distribution and inventory management, ERP systems, LEAN warehousing, ISO, QMS and meeting facilitation Knowledge of OSHA, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDA) regulations and compliance Ability to generate quality metrics and reports Bilingual English/Spanish Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment This job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
