Quality Assurance Supervisor

ResponsibilitiesThe QA Supervisor will have a variety of tasks. The large picture is managing a team of 4 (2 on 1st, 1 on 2nd 1 on 3rd). Additional responsibilities will include making sure that the site is following cGMP guidelines, staying up to date on new and pending regulations to assure site compliance, making sure that that new policies are documented and followed properly, investigating customer complaints and preparing appropriate responses, Reviewing/Approving deviations, assists with implementation of suggestions and changes to improve the quality of products, drafting reports, communicating with the quality manager for direction and decisions with potential impact to the facility, products and other departments, problem solving/conflict resolution and planning work schedules.The will be managing the staff on the following: product release functions, reviewing and approving validation, stability and other protocols or reports as necessary. The won’t be doing the hands on work, but they should have an understanding of it in the event that they are short staffed.Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in a Science major* 5 years of Quality Assurance related experience in the pharmaceutical industry* Supervisory experience preferred* Exemplary oral and written communication skills* Working knowledge of GMP regulations, USP (United States Pharmocopia), IPEC and ICH* Strong Analytic and investigative skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
