There is a lot of lean, 5S and Six Sigma taking place in production.
The successful candidate will be coming in during the infancy stages of the company’s lean manufacturing journey and getting the program put into place.

A lot of continuous improvement efforts going on right now.

This person will assist in ramping up the quality system.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
Managing the electronic online safety program
Creating and overseeing the quality management processes
Managing and overseeing the Quality Management System
Assigning safety to the production staff
Supervising quality employees
Providing quality and improvement reports
Working with ISO
Performing internal quality audits
Ensuring OSHA compliance
Working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office
Travelling domestically to another location up to six times per year
Creating training programs and training on those programs
The successful candidate must have the following:
A related four year engineering, manufacturing, business or related degree
Five or more years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting
Two or more years of leadership experience with quality employees
Two or more years of ISO experience
Two or more years of internal quality auditing experience
Two or more years of ERP and Microsoft Office experience
Ability to travel domestically to another location up to six times per year
A stable work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
