Secret Clearance Job Description: Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Their duties and responsibilities include:
* Managing project design and construction management services in a Federal government environment. Duties entail developing client space requirements, developing scopes of work, owner representation, lease document review and negotiation, contracting officer technical representative, fee and proposal negotiation, architectural and engineering design review, scheduling, budgeting, and construction progress inspections.
* Builds and maintains a strategic enterprise partner relationship with the Director of Quality Management. * Apprises the COR of all significant issues in a timely manner. * Provides strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the project team.
* Ensures program integration across task areas, work groups, and functional/technical teams and delegates administrative, financial, and coordination duties as necessary. * Ensures use of innovative processes to plan, organize, and control all contract services and activities, manage risks and to monitor performance.
* Ensures all Task Order activities meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements. * Drives effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
* Serves as the single management focal point and is responsible for the execution of all services Mandatory Requirements:
1. Education:
a. MBA or MS/MA degree Management, Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science 2. Experience:
a. Must have 6-10 years of experience in project management
b. Practical experience with the development and execution of facility schedules
c. Practical experience with work control process (i.e.., development, review, approval, issue execution and close-out of work control packages and associated lockouts)
d. Experience in Renovations and improvement to commercial office complexes.
e. Commercial renovations experience background in formal project management and a background in design and construction.
