Opportunity for construction Project Manager to join a well-established and reputable mid-sized General Contractor. Looking for a candidate to lead local construction projects in the multifamily, senior living, affordable housing, and historic renovation spaces (up to $30M+).

Client Details

Mid-sized General Contractor with more than a decade of construction industry experience in Missouri and Kansas. The group specializes in the multifamily, senior Living, and commercial renovation construction markets- with a particular stronghold and expertise in affordable housing construction world. Projects are predominantly in Kansas City/Wichita and local to St. Louis- backlogged up through 2022 and adding to 2023+ daily through their referred network and strong repeat client-base. The position is open due to growth and offers and excellent opportunity for Project Mangers to own projects from concept through completion with extensive support from a close knit and collaborative support staff and team. This also comes off the back of the grand opening of their KC office location as they officially expand their business into the area. Description

Candidate will report directly into the President working closely with the executive team on project delivery initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Consulting owner on project feasibility and delivery methods
• Leading weekly owner meetings with all stakeholders
• Assisting preconstruction efforts with Precon team
• Assist in project buyout
• Work closely with subcontractors/designers/engineers/inspectors/city officials
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Lead project teams
• Participate in project closeout

Profile

• 5-10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
• Ideally prior experience in multifamily renovation and ground up construction
• Proven experience managing cradle-to-grave construction process
• Estimating experience a plus
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
• Potential to grow into leadership roles
• Strong presentation and communication
• Go-getter and entrepreneurial attitude
