Project Manager (Entry Level)

The Jr. Project Manager will contribute to our team’s productivity by assisting others with tasks related to project pricing, design schemes, submittals, production packages, vendor pricing, progress lists, completion lists, and close-out packages.

Job Responsibilities

• Visit your jobsites each week and communicate progress with the production department. Report deficiencies in installation to the production department for correction. Verify accuracy of our design documents during jobsite visit.
• Listen carefully to the customer to be sure that we are addressing their specific need & requests. Ask questions if not clear.
• Review contracts for accuracy ensuring that “included items” and “excluded items” are covered and communicated clearly to both the engineering and production teams.
• Organize and communicate accurate information for the field production staff.
• Produce error free documents before sending them to your customers. Proofread your proposals, emails, letters, etc.
• Responsible for complete and accurate documents for your assigned projects. This includes design documents and shop drawings. You are responsible for reviewing drawings and documents produced by the engineering department to ensure accuracy and that these documents will meet our customer’s needs and work within the approved contract costs.
• Responsible for assisting other project managers with jobsite visits and communicating progress with the production department. Responsible for reporting deficiencies in any installation to the production department for correction.
• Assist others with owner close-out packages and attending final walk-throughs with the owners and provide them instruction on system operation. Make sure the owner’s needs are met with regards to overall comfort and their Encon Experience.
• Provide turn-over information to the service department so that accurate maintenance agreements can be quoted quickly to the clients upon project completion.
• Attend pre-job meetings with the production department to review completed design documents and estimated costs.
• Attend client meetings as needed.
• Stay up on the latest products and technology in the HVAC industry.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Customer service experience
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and goal driven
• Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel)

• Construction experience
• Salesforce or CRM experience
• HVAC (mechanical) experience
• Project management experience
• Estimating experience

Eligibility Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Employment/education will be verified.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Wage range: $65-$80K
