Responsibilities Guidehouse is looking for a proven Project Manager with capital project planning, management, and tracking experience.

This proven Project Manager will be responsible for a team of professionals across several different workstreams, including data management, planning, strategy, and measurement.

Key to the success of this project manager is their ability to lead a team of professionals while possessing and being able to leverage, and influence engagement outputs, based on their own core capital project knowledge.

The Project Manager will also require close and direct coordination with several client leads, including executive leadership.

Interactions with our clients will require the Project Manager to have the ability connect and communicate progress, status, and next steps across a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: + Support federal programs in assessing the cost-effectiveness and economic impacts of projects and capital investments + Support clients in defining options for paying and delivering on investments + Provide policy support for related partnerships + Provide data-driven guidance to clients to better evaluate performance and return on capital investments + Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client improvements + Participate in client meetings, clearly synthesize meeting minutes, and disseminate them to team members and clients + Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff Qualifications+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum six years of consulting experience with federal government clients + Proven capital project planning, tracking, and management experience with the Federal government + Demonstrated ability to design performance reporting and tracking for Federal construction projects + Experience working with Tableau and other data visualization software + Deep experience with Federal program planning requirements, including the stand up and execution of evolving program requirements + Ability to, and success with, managing resources across different work streams and efforts + Understand and have demonstrated success growing projects and efforts to capture additional revenue via new ideas brought to the client or execution / extension of client provided opportunities + Knowledge of construction lifecycle stages, including challenges and / or opportunities within each + Eligible to meet and pass requirements for a Public Trust + Currenlty reside or ability to relocate to Washington, D.C.

area Preferred Qualifications In addition to the above qualifications: + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification + Knowledge of federal risk management requirements + Experience helping federal department, agencies or administrative offices to prioritize and select portfolio prioritization + Demonstrated understanding of large programs or funding mechanisms Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
