A growing Glazing Contractor is looking to add an Estimator to their team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced Glazing Estimator who wants to join a growing company and develop their career further.
Responsibilities of the Estimator

- Estimate material amounts and cost of labor to complete the installation in residential / commercial buildings
- Communicate directly to the customer/builder when necessary
- Evaluate project leads to determine scope of work, contractual requirements and create a bidding strategy.
- Develop accurate and concise clarifications and assumptions from contractors/architects
- Manage multiple estimating projects concurrently with ability to multi-task
- Solve problems and conflicts with potential glazing systems and the customization needed to meet architectural requirements
- Develop unit cost accurately with profitability margins
Job Requirements

- Minimum 3 years commercial glazing estimating experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word documents
- Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings and specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
