Travel Required: None Requisition Type: Regular GDIT has an opportunity for a Project Manager working with a large line of business within GDIT that is currently supporting multiple contracts for the Defense Information Service Agency (DISA) in the DC Metro area.
We are seeking energetic, talented individuals that have a desire to help transform customer requirements supporting the DISA Storefront Software Development and Production support contract.As a Project Manager, you will plan, organize, and manage a project (or series of smaller projects/task orders of a larger program) for successful performance consistent with contractual agreements.
Support deliverable tracking and management reporting.
Acquire follow-on business associated with assigned projects and supports new business development by leading or assisting with proposals.
Lead junior staff by defining and allocating tasks, conducting training, and mentoring.
You will provide key project planning, execution and monitoring deliverables including project schedule plan, Projections, cost plan, and other subsidiary plans as components of the overall project or program management plan.
Able to perform direct and advisory roles in oversight, planning and implementation of projects and initiatives.
Conduct problem resolution and identify process improvements.
Interface as needed at multiple levels of management, providing information and thought leadership in technical areas.
Supervises at least 15 employees Required Qualifications:
– BA/BS
– 10 years experience
