White’s Residential and Family and Services JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Program Manager Department: Preservation Services/Family Services Employment Status: Full-time/Regular/Exempt Qualifications: A Christian with strong convictions who is also in agreement with White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct.
Applicant must be 21 years or older and have a minimum of a Master’s degree; Social Work or related field of study.
LMHC or LCSW highly preferred.
Five years social service experience is required.
Also, this person must be able to effectively lead and inspire others as a supervisor of a team and have good communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
Reports to: Vice President and Executive Director of Family Services Job Summary: The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising direct care staff within the Preservation Services team.
Ensure program compliance with all agency policies and procedures, assign caseloads and provide case-specific supervision with direct care staff.
Create, reinforce, and evaluate staff contribution to a positive and therapeutic culture within the Family Preservation program.
Must demonstrate sensitivity to White’s service population and commitment to student and staff development.
Basic Responsibilities Program Administration Provide ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness, identify programmatic enhancements, and coordinate implementation of new program strategies aimed toward ensuring positive outcomes for families served.
Ensure program compliance with all agency policies and procedures, as well as regulatory, accreditation, and funding source rules and regulations (DCS, COA, etc).
Provide accurate, definitive direction to staff regarding family preservation policies and procedures; troubleshoot new issues as they arise and provide consistent feedback.
Provide regular reports of compliance status and plans to address any deficiencies to the VP and Executive Director of Family Services.
Participate in organizational Incident Review Team, representing Family Preservation Services.
Participate in strategic planning for program growth with the VP and Executive Director of Family Services.
Represent the organization and Family Preservation program in professional settings.
Regularly monitor program financials, work with VP and Executive Director of Family Services to create annual budgets and ensure operations meet or exceed budget expectations.
Preservation Services Treatment Oversight Assess referrals from the Department of Child Services for Family Preservation Services.
Assign caseloads and provide case-specific supervision with direct care staff.
Provide treatment direction and oversight through individual supervision, treatment team facilitation, and direct oversight of service provision.
Review and approve all relevant treatment documentation; Treatment Plans, Session Notes, Monthly Progress Reports, Safety Assessments.
Supervise the provision of Evidenced Based treatment modalities including but not limited to CBT, MI, EMDR, and Triple P Parenting, ensuring treatment fidelity.
Provide ongoing and daily support and direction to direct care staff.
Provide 24/7 Clinical and Administrative oversight to direct care crisis response for families served.
Ensure that all case documentation is approved and submitted for filing within appropriate timeframes.
Ensure that Preservation Service files are properly maintained and meet standards established by contract requirements and accrediting bodies.
Ensure client and customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem solving.
Team Coordination Create, reinforce, and evaluate staff contribution to a positive and therapeutic culture within the Family Preservation program.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and direct them toward a common vision and client centered approach.
Coordinate opportunities for individual and team professional development; create training content when needed.
Evaluate the performance of team members through ongoing supervision and the organizational Coaching Review process.
Perform other duties assigned by the VP and Executive Director of Family Services Skills, Supervision, Knowledge, and Ability Must be dependable, well organized, and an effective people and time manager.
Must have the skills and abilities to supervise.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide effective and direct feedback to staff regarding performance.
Must have the ability to clearly, concisely, and professionally communicate ideas and create a shared idea through good verbal and written skills.
Must be knowledgeable of DCS Rules and COA standards regarding supervision.
Must be knowledgeable of mental health diagnoses and services.
Must be genuine, empathetic, and emotionally connected in helping staff work with designated population.
Must be skilled at assembling and managing a team.
That is, one who enjoys working closely with other staff members and has the ability to be flexible, adaptive, and positive in his/her interactions with others including those supervised, peers, and others with whom White’s interacts in fulfilling its goals and mission.
Must maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and Outlook.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands of Position Must be able to meet regular, and sometime short, deadlines on supervision documentation, youth/family treatment documentation, correspondence, and other assignments.
Working Conditions Normal scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m.
