Role: Program Director Location: San Antonio Job Description: Talented Program Director with data engineering and insurance domain background to lead Data Modernization teams responsible for modernizing policy & claims data and analytics applications and implementing new capabilities.

In this role, the program director directs, plans, and organizes activities of professionals engaged in providing information technology services and leads and directs change management, process improvement, or technical support initiatives within the unit.

Responsibilities :
· Understand large insurance Customer Data Analytics landscape
· Builds and oversees a team of employees for assigned area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.

· Oversees efforts in establishing documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies and ensure adherence to standards across teams.

· Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of technology support services to meet those needs Qualifications: (Please list all required qualifications)
· Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of related
· 10 years of experience in a technology function with 5 years leadership experience, demonstrated in a supervisor role of IT Professionals
· Technical knowledge and understanding of technical domains that reside within Infrastructure Services, Data or Application Development and oversight of technology life cycle from requirements analysis, feasibility estimates, design, code, documentation, testing, implementation, and support
· Experience managing multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments; escalating and resolving problems in early stages to avoid cost/time expenses.

· Demonstrated financial acumen involving budgets, forecasting, and on-budget execution
· Understanding of relevant industry frameworks, i.e.

ITIL, SAFe, etc.

Preferred Experience:
· Experience leading a large program with multiple agile teams (75 FTEs for 5 Customer Leaders/Units)
· Experience leading large scale transformation/modernization initiatives
· Experience leading execution leveraging SAFe methodology
· P&C insurance experience
