Job Description H&H Color Lab is one the largest single facility professional photography labs in the nation, engaged in both the high-end portrait and wedding market and the high-volume school, sports and events market. With over 50 years of experience, H&H Color Lab is an industry leader in product development and design for high quality photographic prints and products. As the Production Supervisor , you will train on all aspects of successfully running the day-to-day operations of a production team in preparation of one day growing into a Production Manager. You’ll be involved with maintaining production schedules, planning and assigning work, training and coaching employees, and maintaining product quality standards under the guidance of the Production Manager. Regular Work Schedule Peak Seasons (Typically April-May and July-December) : Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm and Monday & Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pm Off Seasons (Typically January-March and June) : Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Starting Wage: $20.00 $2.00 Shift Differential Responsibilities Create and maintain an inspiring team environment that exhibits H&H Color Lab’s core values: Integrity, Building People, Truthful Communication, Trust and Respect for the Individual, Team Success Over Individual Success, and Only a Right Thing Done in a Right Way is Right. Maintain production schedules, plan and assign work, train employees, and maintain product quality standards. Assist with team member monthly coaching sessions and annual Performance Evaluations. Recognize and solve problems affecting production. Inspect Remake orders to identify process and training deficiencies. Assist the production team in the absence of team members. Assist the Production Manager in the improvement of current production processes. Assist the Production Manager in the development of processes for new products. Assist with monitoring and completing time & attendance reports. Follow all established Standard Work procedures established by the Company. Maintain a clean and organized workstation/work area. Comply with all Company policies, rules, and instructions from supervisors or management. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety laws and all of H&H Color Lab’s safety policies and rules. Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate management. All other duties as assigned. Attendance Requirements Must maintain acceptable attendance and able to work overtime as necessary. Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work any shift on a temporary basis. Must be willing to transfer to any shift should an opening becomes available. Job Requirements Must have the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret instructions in English at a level normally acquired through a high school education. Minimum of 1 year of production supervisory experience. Able to work independently without close supervision. Must be flexible/adaptable to constant change. Possess strong communication skills and diplomacy in order to interact with all levels of personnel. Able to prioritize, organize, and plan work under own initiative. Must be detail-oriented. Able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level. Must have the ability to perform certain tasks on a repetitive basis including, but not limited to, carrying, standing, kneeling, squatting, pushing, walking, sitting, reaching, and pulling. Able to be stand and/or walk for the entire work shift. Must have the ability to withstand moderate exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noise from machines and equipment.
