Provide client advocacy required to grow US Ecology’s repeat business relationship with both existing and new clients.
Responsible for achieving yearly sales targets and maintaining required opportunity pipelines.You will be responsible for Product Sales related to US Ecology’s service offerings of Chemical Sales, Automotive Fluid Sales and other Manufactured Product lines generally outlined in the company’s Product Catalogue offerings.
You will focus on the development of Product sales directly to users for repeat business relationships.
Some focus will be on development of Resale Customers, brokers, and Product distributers.Day in the LifeYou can expect to:Develop and secure new profitable business for the companyCall-on, meet, and interact with a list of customers to promote the Company’s Product Sales and to support the closing and acquisition of scheduled and repeatable revenue.Complete required sales reports, forecasts, or other reports including, but not limited to the maintenance of opportunity pipeline data and client interaction activities.Be the primary interface between the client and US Ecology during all stages of the sales process.
This includes providing support and assistance with client interactions during business development activities such as meetings, tradeshows, product demonstrations, private presentations, and facility tours.Responsible for sponsorship of the opportunity through the proposal and project execution stages and for cooperating/supporting the Executive and Operational staff during the development of proposals/estimates.Responsible for continual recording of data and activities in US Ecology’s CRM system.Participate in opportunity reviews (proposal and estimates) and take a lead role in the opportunity closing effort.Assist with price estimating and proposal preparation in matters specifically relating to all project opportunities.What you need to applyBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science or in a directly-related discipline supporting Chemical or Manufactured Product sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience5 years of experience in a directly related field with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with decision makers in various industries such as vehicle and equipment maintenance, government procurement of chemicals and commodities, and oil, gas, and natural resource exploration, production and development.Ability to obtain a Transportation Work Identification Credential (TWIC) for access to all port and shipping related facilities.Ability to attend pre-bid meetings, read understand and correctly apply product specifications.Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.Travel within the western United States is required when necessary.Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing.Must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer relations skills.Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems, keeping all appropriate parties aware of issues or risks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Good computer skills including the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and relational database CRM are required.Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screeningAbout UsUS Ecology helps our customers keep the environment clean by doing the hard but rewarding work of safely disposing of hazardous and regulated waste.
