The incumbent for this role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent time management abilities.
Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities include:nn nn Key Responsibilities nn Developing positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for Yorktel products and services for both internal and external audiences.
Work with the development team to translate product features into benefits that stick with customers and attract prospects.
Establish, implement and follow a process for each product introduction to include gathering all information necessary to develop sales collateral, sales decks, line cards, website content, diagrams, proposal responses, etc.
Note, it is the responsibility of the Product Marketing Manager to gather the information, not necessarily write the actual marketing content.
That can be done by a professional copywriter.
Work with the marketing department to develop marketing campaigns for each product.
Research trending keywords and industry innovations, trends and projections.
Plan product launches.
Lead the product market analysis for Yorktel to clearly communicate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Be a subject matter expert on product user personas, and drive messaging, events, and campaigns based on those personas.
Be an expert and advocate for the voice of the customer, turning the feedback received into actionable insights, and work alongside Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure the customer voice is heard.
Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to help facilitate demand generation activities such as webinars, online advertising, events, and marketing campaigns to both internal and external (client and end-user) audiences.
Work with Product Management to analyze product usage data to drive feature adoption.
Work with your marketing colleagues to help define, track, analyze, and communicate the full customer journey.
Understand the competitive landscape, be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
nn Requirements nn 5+ years of work experience in a product marketing role within a technology organization Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Asana, Teams, etc.
Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools Familiar with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
