Job Summary Job Family Summary The purpose of the Customer Journey Enablement team in Product Experience and Design is to develop and execute on long-term strategy, processes, and initiatives that will reimagine consumer interactions by delivering one common digital interface for the enterprise.

This common digital interface, also known as the Consumer Engagement and Management Ecosystem (CEME), will build the capabilities of consumer facing technology supporting all interactions and users, on one shared technology stack.

The team directly supports Allstate’s vision and strategy of transformative growth.

Job Summary The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution all through the lifecycle of the product.

This is inclusive of gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations departments to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met, as well as the company’s overall strategy and goals are supported by those of the product.

Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch.

This role leverages functional expertise and knowledge of the business to increase operational efficiencies and transform all market facing businesses’ experience.

The incumbent should also have a working knowledge of various software methodologies, in particular Scaled Agile (SAFe).

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Product Planning Develops and implements product strategies based on business value and consistent with company vision Act as liaisons between departments to decide on proper strategies and plans while acting as points of contact Work with coordinating departments to create and implement a decisive project plan and strategy from product development to launch Act as the key authority and point of contact for project development concepts, business strategy and business models Partner with the marketing, engineer and design teams to bring the product vision to life with prototypes and mocks Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing and requesting constant updates product managers, product owners and from cross-functional teams Forecasts short-term and long-term deliverables cross functionally using waterfall and agile best practices Perform various project management duties, including creating a budget and ensuring it is not exceeded, managing work plans and facilitating an efficient product development effort between individual co-workers and departments Facilitates/conducts requirements sessions and helps stakeholders across multiple disciplines understand business goals and priorities Metrics and Reporting Oversees the analysis and report of data and responsible for the direction adjustments to development plans as needed to facilitate a successful new product rollout.

Ensure that high standards of reliability, quality, usability and measurement are adhered to throughout each phase of product development.

Product Development Manage the product backlog, create an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.

Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team Ensure the successful execution of development standards to ensure tight feedback loops and clear product definition Incorporate feedback and input from customers, partners and in-house teams on product strategy and finding ways to expand product market reach Customer Feedback and Testing Represent the voice of the end consumer throughout the development process Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to make decisions about product strategy Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products Capture actionable feedback and ideas to prioritize features and inform product roadmaps Develop and build test concepts and manages design stage of features approved to be implemented Key Responsibilities Program Management Support Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization on how to collaborate and conduct idea generation, consumer research, test design and execution, measurement, product implementation, customer interactions and roll out.

Leads projects including strategy, communication and analysis that provide actionable recommendations Develop presentations that articulate findings and recommendations as well as facilitate executive decision making and alignment for internal and external stakeholders Assists in leading group direction, capabilities, staffing, and integration with other functional groups Communicates and presents project information to project team as well as providing presentation/ updates to senior level management Responsibilities may also include a combination of the following based on team need: Create experiment plan including AB/multivariate testing and targeting strategies designed to support site traffic and lead growth objectives based on actionable analytical insights Partner with key business stakeholders (i.e.

D3) to assist with scope definition to create AB/multivariate testing and targeting strategies designed to support lead growth objectives based on actionable analytical insights.

Part of the scope definition will also include optimization for content and design for the product Manage AB/Multivariate Testing implementations across multiple platforms.

Example platforms that may be used for AB Testing can be Adobe Target with Site Catalyst for analytics, Optimost, Oracle Tracker etc.

Own and manage web analytics and develop reporting to highlight key challenges and opportunities to share with the senior leadership team; apply learnings to future testing to improve results Help to analyze and present results, learnings and recommendations from tests to cross functional partners and senior team Author and present creative briefs that detail testing/targeting/personalization business objectives and creative direction Provide thought leadership to junior team members in the development of documents and communicate prioritization process to both internal and external stakeholders.

Influences direct reports, clients, service providers and peers to successfully deliver on business commitments Successful delivery leadership demonstrated by the accomplishment of results Demonstrate the ability to make decisions under pressure and ambiguous parameters Adapts communication approach for audiences at multiple internal and external levels Negotiates solutions for issues that may be complex or controversial Encourages risk taking and alternative solution ideation Leads and manages team personnel of varying and cross-functional business process responsibilities Prioritizes and enhances new and existing practices to ensure effective use of company resources Directs and is responsible for work that needs to be performed by a team(s) and their direct reports Participates in interviewing and candidate selection (as needed by the department) Job Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex concepts and the ability to solve complex problems Effectively lead and collaborate across boundaries to implement decisions and /or initiatives in an integrated manner Prefer candidates who have experience working with CRM vendors, including but not limited to Salesforce Ability to measure, evaluate and act on financial and operational results Ability implement business strategies across multiple distribution channels Leads and collaborates across boundaries to implement decisions and /or initiatives in an integrated manner Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams with direct and indirect responsibility Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to influence others 5 years of experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent project management certification preferred Ability to drive individual and departmental goals Advanced knowledge of products, services, features and benefits Technical understanding of processes, software applications, etc.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skills Advanced critical thinking needed to align and drive strategy Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams with direct and indirect responsibility Revises or adopts work processes to support change management Actively assesses, monitors, and develops bench strength for a department Compensation Data Compensation for this position will be $91,800 to $159,300/year plus AIP bonus.

Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
