Product Manager, Communication & Adoption

This is a Contract position in Lone Tree, CO posted March 1, 2022.

The Workplace Financial Solutions Product Management team is currently looking for a documentation writer with experience developing and maintaining both technical documentation and end-user online help content, as well as a strong background in various documentation tools and publishing applications.  Workplace Financial Solutions provides equity compensation recordkeeping, employee monitoring solutions and brokerage services to corporate clients and their employees. The Product Management team is responsible for the welfare of the WFS product suite and sets the priorities for the product roadmap.  The Documentation Product Manager will also play a key role in developing new tools and resources as we seek to modernize our documentation infrastructure.

  • Own the online documentation product experience including vision, strategy, and value delivery for clients
  • Work closely with product owners to learn and translate upcoming features into end user documentation
  • Perform detailed analyses that provide insight into the customer experience, cost savings opportunities, client behaviors, and competitive market factors
  • Evaluate various online help strategies and provide recommendations on how to modernize the approach and improve the user experience
  • Participate in the broader communication strategy by educating stakeholders on the platforms and supporting documents
  • Stay current with industry best practices and market opportunities
  • Maintain technical documentation as new product features and functionality are rolled out
  • Work closely with Training, Marketing and other teams as necessary to support new product rollouts
  • Assists with tasks related to editing various department communications, some of which may include training materials, reporting guides, sales collateral, enhancement and implementation guides and various internal and/or public materials

  • 5+ years’ experience writing end-user documentation
  • 2+ years’ product management experience
  • Experience delivering simple, but compelling documentation on complex topics
  • Ability and desire to effectively and efficiently work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience being self-directed with a strong desire to continually improve all facets of the product and client experience
  • Passion for innovation, backed by demonstrated ability to execute and deliver
  • Strong written and verbal communication, being able to transform complex topics into well-organized, understandable communications to different audiences, including Leadership
  • Intermediate/Advanced-level skills with MS Office suites
  • Proficient in MadCap Flare software
  • Experience in the Financial Services and/or Equity Compensation industry is preferred
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification, or willingness to obtain, desired 
  • Ability to provide writing samples

Colorado Compensation

Target Total Compensation -76,200 – 120,600
