FUJIFILM Sonosite holds a number of prestigious design awards and has in excess of 145 patents.Job Summary:The Product Manager is expected to be the resident expert with regards to the business needs of the target customer and Fujifilm Sonosite. You will define features and processes, drive projects end-to-end, collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams (both technical and non-technical) to implement solutions, and deeply analyze the results. You”ll drive frequent experiments where there”s an opportunity to learn but proceed cautiously when decisions have big implications and would be hard to change. You”ll shape our strategy in a rapidly evolving environment. With stakeholders across the company across retail, technology, catalog, and operations, you”ll have frequent opportunities to influence significant decisions. The Product Manager provides direction to R&D in areas of product definition, product assessment, and product introduction. The Product Manager owns, and is the author of, key documentation that authorizes (Charter) and defines (Product Requirement Document) engineering projects. The Product Manager is a resource for the Global Sales and Outbound Marketing Organizations and must be able to transform the customers business / product needs into solutions regardless of geography. The Product Manager is expected to be able to focus on many tasks in parallel while working very closely with the Product Development Team.Essential Job Functions:Be able to identify customer needs and translate these into requirements.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical projects from concept to deployment.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant product management experienceGood understanding of Agile software development processExcellent communication and negotiation skills to prioritize projects and get commitments from internal stakeholders, including TPMs, SDEs, SDMs, program managers, and leaders at multiple levels across operations, legal, and business areas.Ability to partner with and influence remote teams.Excellent writing and communication skills.Excellent presentation skills with audiences ranging from 1/1 to large conference audiences.Advanced project management and risk mitigation skills.Exceptional analytical and project reporting skills.Strong bias for action with an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.Great attention to detail.Maintain an awareness of Product Quality and Reliability.Team member of the Go to Market team supplying project timeline, technical specifications, product benefits and configurations.Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company”s quality system.Knowledge and Experience:BA/BS in business, marketing or technical field, or equivalent work experience.Must have at least (5) five years experience in product management with consumer or professional software based products.Experience with medical ultrasound or other medical devices preferred.Experience in dealing with numerous requirements and performing detailed prioritization is required.Management experience is preferred.Skills and Abilities:Ability to understand the business needs of the customer and Sonosite respectively.Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements for R&D is a must.Ability to think about the application of diagnostic ultrasound in non-traditional ways is also a must.Leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring, conflict resolution, and team building skills.Willing and able to travel up to 25% of time.Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc. offers a fantastic compensation package, including benefits, and a 401k program.
