**Come Build Your Career Under OUR Roof****Job Description:**The Procurement Risk Management & Quality Manager shall plan and lead the identification and assessment of risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security and/or financial success of the company.
The Procurement Risk Management & Quality Manager shall communicate risk policies and processes for the organization, provide hands-on development of risk models, conduct risk assessments and reviews, maintain risk management databases, and ensure risk management controls are operating effectively.
The Procurement Risk Management & Quality Manager shall be an integral part of the supplier risk assessment and management process working collaboratively with key functions across the Supply Chain organization to assess and react to risks for supply chain disruptions ensuring supply chain resiliency, and shall manage the reporting and alerts of those potential disruptions to the supply chain.The individual shall leverage identified supply chain risks and potential disruptions within the Supply Chain organization and with Operations to implement mitigation actions.
The Procurement Risk Management & Quality Manager shall exhibit full understanding of risk management to align goals and department deliverables.
The individual will also serve as a coach and mentor to the Purchasing Managers to further their understanding of risk management.**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**_25-35%_ Lead Supply Chain process to analyze supplier performance metrics, quarterly supplier risk assessment data and annual supplier performance survey results.
Collaborate with Supply Chain functional groups and key stakeholders to assess supplier risks for supply chain disruptions, identify both reactive and proactive risk mitigation action steps to improve supplier performance and reduce supplier risk, and ensure Procurement organization is complying with due diligence requirements for onboarding new suppliers.
Manage process to identify and mitigate risks to material sourcing.
Provide alerts and identify suppliers at risk from impending situations such as storms.
Use available tools to analyze vendor supply chain risk._20-30%_ Direct Supply Chain efforts to partner with the Business Continuity Plan group (BCP) in the creation of business continuity plans and playbooks to anticipate, address and mitigate business disruptions across all GAF plants.
Develop, maintain and test the business continuity program to identify, analyze and eliminate gaps.
Lead and negotiate support for the activities necessary to enable GAF to manage a crisis and comply with BCP plan such as, for example, projects to qualify alternate raw materials and actions to maintain qualifications._15-25%_ In support of quality and risk mitigation activities, direct and manage the supplier audit program for direct materials, outsourced products and asphalt facility assessments.
Engage Operations/Manufacturing Plants to participate in the auditing process.
Negotiate to manage supplier relationships pertaining to corrective action steps and responses to audit findings with the TrackVia CAPA process.
Establish KPI’s to measure performance._10-20%_ Develop, manage and lead a training plan for Procurement related purchasing and quality activities and processes.
Establish a formal schedule of training programs and KPI’s, and a process to track and document participation._5-10 %_ Collaborate with the Sustainability group and lead Procurement efforts on sustainability endeavors pertaining to materials and vendors.
Work to improve our product and material circularity, and to understand GAF’s carbon footprint and lead Procurement efforts to reduce it._5-10%_ Other duties as assigned.**LEVEL BASED COMPETENCIES:**?
