– we are growing fast, still at an early stage and working on ambitious new initiatives.  nn nn We are seeking a candidate with strong product management experience in the modern application architectures and virtual networking / software defined networking and security to drive innovative and highly scalable products.

nn nn In this role you will be responsible for defining and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure virtual networking products and drive the product strategy for enabling cloud native applications.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, suggest and justify product directions and specifications for executive approval.

Other responsibilities include development of new concepts and definition and synthesis of business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, writing product definitions and driving project milestones from design to release. You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class capabilities on OCI.

You will be expected to assess appropriate trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and remote teams.

nn nn The right candidate will possess a strong Product Management background, an ability to work with customers and sales to capture and write product requirements, have experience launching multiple customer-facing products and features preferably in the cloud networking domain.

You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer-centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are essential to succeed in this role.

nn nn Key Responsibilities: nn Identify, define and prioritize product features and functions Drive project management of operational and technical solution development to support implementation of desired features and functions Write business requirements and user stories to provide design and development direction to UX design and Dev teams Create product roadmaps for executive review Collaborate with UX design and Dev teams to iterate and refine deigns Define, measure and manage customer experience and business performance metrics for stakeholders Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that may dent team’s ability to execute nn Minimum Qualifications: nn Bachelor’s Degree 8+ years of experience as hands-on product manager for networking/security products and services targeting enterprise customers Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously Expertise in SDN, Networking, Network Performance Monitoring, or Network Security Strong writing and communications skills Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment nn Preferred Qualifications: nn MBA nn n Detailed Description and Job Requirements n Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution.

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.n nAs a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications.

Suggest and justify product directions and specifications.

Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture.

Build new products and development tools.

Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans.

Review integration and regression test plans created by QA.

Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.n nWork is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
