Principal Product Manager, Data Hub

This individual will partner closely with fellow leaders in Design, Engineering, Partnerships and Go-To-Market to craft a product vision and strategy for us to deliver a best in class Smart data hub, that helps make it effortless for our customers to integrate Amplitude with their technology stack.

This is a strategically important position of responsibility to drive alternate revenue streams at an already fast-growing company. 

As a Principal Product Manager, you will: 

  • Own vision and strategy for a new investment in our portfolio and leverage Amplitude’s innovations in data management to disrupt how modern data teams operate
  • Ensure successful product launch and lifecycle, with success defined as achieving desired business outcomes and product KPIs
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand core problems and translate into customer needs that empower designers and engineers
  • Work closely with our partnerships team and got to market teams to enable technology partners to integrate with us easy – with an eye towards innovation
  • Prioritize the highest leverage work for the team, organized around both short-term delivery and long-term strategy
  • Communicate business impact to stakeholders, including progress on product-market and market-motion fit

You’ll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • A successful track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver great product experiences
  • Exhibited relentless customer focus, and enjoyed being a spokesperson for customers and prospects; you inspire others through customer stories
  • Operated well in the unknown, and enjoy crafting strategy and vision for a quickly evolving industry
  • Worked with external stakeholders and partners to launch products and features in conjunction with other companies
  • Applied an iterative approach to building products and a learning mindset to operationalizing a GTM motion
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, discuss, and challenge architectural concepts, trade offs, and new opportunities with technical team members
  • A proven track record to make smart features versus time-to-market trade-offs.

    You have demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision

  • Not required but a plus of having domain expertise and viewpoint of the modern data stack
