To this end, Microsoft invests in a dedicated Customer Success team that will help Microsoft customers successfully realize their business outcomes.* Experience – 10+ years of successful delivery of customer-facing, complex technical programs in cloud-related professional services organization required. Prior work experience in global, multi-discipline, multi-year, $100M+ Program Manager or Engagement Manager position focused on Cloud and software/services solution preferred.5+ years in Manufacturing industry consulting preferred – especially around one or more of Workforce Transformation, Resilient Supply Chain, Agile Production and Inventory Management* Leadership – This role requires strong prioritization, collaboration and communication skills, as well as displaying executive presence and confidence in varying levels of customer situations and negotiations. The CSAM must show leadership in teams comprised of Microsoft, Partner and customer resources who may be engaged in the delivery of complex solutions for overall customer success. Change Management experience preferred.* Relationship Building – Proven track record of building relationships with senior customer executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various customer and internal stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/engagements required.* Enterprise Program Management – Demonstrated advanced skills in planning and orchestrating portfolios of multi-phased strategic investments. Providing construct for complex teams, cross-group collaboration, integrated oversight of dependencies & risks, and overall resourcing for a portfolio of engagements, cross-group collaboration, resource orchestration, communications, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail required.* Collaboration and Communication – Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with verbal and written communication. Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences and various levels of management (Senior Executives, IT management, Account Executives, Business and Technical Architects, Product and Support Teams).* Technical -?Experience with Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and migrations preferred. Knowledge of market trends and competitive insights preferred. Able to combine technical acumen with strategic visioning to drive tactical planning and lifecycle governance. Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs preferred.* Certification – Certification(s) in the following preferred:* Program & Portfolio Management: PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma* Technologies: Cloud, mobile, web application development, cloud-native application architecture?.* Travel required: 0-30%* Relocation will be considered for qualified candidates.* The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $148,000 and $226,000.* At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. As the Principal CSAM you will drive acceleration of cloud adoption from Pilot/MVP to production for customers’ cloud engagements by providing cross-engagement oversight, resource orchestration, and blocker escalation in close collaboration with key account team unit members and business partners supporting customer success.As a Principal Customer Success Account Manager, you are the primary customer facing role responsible for customer success through the management of program deliveries and strong customer relationships.
