Job Description

Infosys is looking for a Principal Site Reliability Consultant
– Site Reliability Engineering role  for Boston, MA, Huston, TX and Denver, CO.

Senior Principal Site Reliability Consultant Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the development, communication, and implementation of the organization’s DevOps capabilities, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Test Automation of infrastructure management, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring
• Experience in As-Is state analysis, provide recommendations and implementation roadmap creation
• Knowledge of Agile and Lean Practices
• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps automation tools
• Work directly with clients and our teams by leading and being accountable for the design and delivery of advanced DevSecOps capabilities
• Provide technical leadership for a team of software and DevOps engineers through communication, documentation, and examples
• Experience in Design, code, test, debug, and document software that enables DevOps in an agile environment for use by the development team
• Lead the execution of technical tasks for enterprise-level clients
• Lead a project team of consultants on simultaneous client projects

Required Principal Site Reliability Consultant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

  We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• 12+ years of IT experience
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps / DevSecOps implementation and consulting experience
• Experience in Architecture
  – App architecture, Infra architecture and DB architecture
• Experience in System Performance Management
• Experience in ITSM Operations (Incident Management, Problem Management), Release Management, Change Management etc.)
• Java Full stack developer experience or experience in two or more of Programming in GOLANG, C, C++, ReactJs, AngularJs, Mainframe technologies
• Development experience in couple of database technologies like Cassandra, Postgre SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB (Strong in one of the them and exposure to others)
• Experience in scripting language like BASH, Python etc.
• Experience in containerization using Docker, Kubernetes
• Development experience in Cloud native environment

Preferred Principal Site Reliability Consultant Development Skills:
Experience in one or more of skills in each category:

• Infrastructure as Code: Experience in any two of the tools
  – Terraform, Salt, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Google Cloud Deployment Manager
• Version Control system: Experience in any two of the tools
  – Git/GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab
• Experience in configuring applications for DevOps enabling tools– Jenkins, Git CI/CD, ArgoCD, SonarQube, jFrog, Nexus, NetSparker, MAVEN, Gradle, ANT, NANT etc.
• Experience in configuring test automation UI and API testing tools
• Logging tools: Experience in configuring any tow of the industry tools
  – Splunk, Datadog, LogStash,, ELK,
• Experience in configuring applications for monitoring
  – NewRelic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics Prometheuse
• Cloud Technologies: Experience in atleast one of cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience in implementing DevOps for ERP technologies – SAP, Salesforce, OracleApps etc.
• Containerization Technologies: Experience in any two or more of
  – Docket, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Helm
• Experience in one or more of the ALM tools – JIRA, HP ALM, Rally
