The Pricing Manager will work within the marketing and product management function to improve overall margin dollar capture. This role will be responsible for driving pricing strategy execution, create value added reporting to drive commercial decisions, and drive CRM adoption and usage.
Individuals in this job position perform work at an experienced high level with proven success defining plans to meet/beat goals and metrics, influencing behavior and actions to align with overall business strategy.
Some of the Requirements/Qualifications of the Pricing Manager include:
· Bachelor’s degree, economics, finance, accounting, IT or an analytics-based field
· 5+ years of relevant experience; B2B pricing experience preferred
· Advanced proficiency with Excel and ability to aggregate, manipulate, and interpret disparate sources of data
· Experience with Microsoft BI or other enterprise data visualization tools
· Experience with Traverse, SAP, enterprise CRM
· Customer focused individual who believes in ensuring promises are delivered upon and can foster a climate of trust and cooperation with colleagues and customers
Job Requirements:
Some of the Responsibilities of the Pricing Manager include:
· Partner with the commercial and product management organization to set customer and technology specific pricing strategies
· Identify margin improvement opportunities for existing offerings and technologies
· Define value-based offerings based on customer segmentation analysis
· Support optimization of sales force effectiveness and cost-to-serve strategies
· Perform scenario planning, costing analysis other financial modeling to enable faster decision making
· Research market, industry, and company trends to anticipate future opportunities for customer valued offerings and margin capture
· Lead pricing strategy discussions and pricing reviews with regional leadership
· Make recommendations for change or action based on insights and learnings
· Identifying and driving continuous improvement of pricing process
· Leverage IT resources to understand systems and actively participate in enhancements
· Support deployment of new IT tools including CRM
· Develop, communicate and champion the pricing strategy
· Partner with business director and sales leaders to meet business goals
