We are hiring an integral team member to join our Sorensen Orthodontics team as a Practice Manager. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership to oversee all aspects of our orthodontic office. As a practice manager you will be responsible for making sure that the administrative aspects of the office run smoothly, managing staff efficiently, and handling patient concerns.

Responsibilities include
- Day-to-Day Practice Operations – Staff schedules, conduct team huddles, address patient concerns, meet with providers and external vendors
- Strategic Planning – Maximize patient schedules, review, meet and exceed goals
- Remain Current in Healthcare Trends – keep up to date with practice changes and changes in all areas of the practice, attend continuing education courses/webinars
- Management of Personnel – Resolve conflicts, maintain personnel records, hire/orientate/evaluate/ discipline/discharge staff
- Billing and Accounting – manage patient billing reports, payroll, prepare budget and variance reports
- Legal Compliance – Ensure all federal and state laws and guidelines are followed (eg OSHA, HIPAA, FMLA), maintain current licensures and BLS for clinical staff, ensure that medical records are properly stored and released

- Knowledge of dental management preferred
- Education in management-related field preferred
