Plant Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for overall plant operations including interior and exterior maintenance including grounds-keeping.

Essential Job Functions

Service Provision:

1. Provides interior maintenance of the community.

2. Provides exterior maintenance of the community including groundskeeping.

3. Tracks all expenditures of the department and maintains a written record of all work accomplished.

4. Assists in coordination of community events.

5. Supervises and trains all Plant Operations employees.

6. Works as part of the management team.

7. Responsible for department budget.

8. Coordinates scheduled service from outside vendors for all mechanical systems.

9. Maintains all records pertaining to fire inspections, pool/Jacuzzi maintenance, and all other inspections pertaining to the licensure of the community, e.g. e-call system, smoke detector checks, etc.

Risk Management:

1. Holds a current CPR certification.

2. Maintains safe access to all public areas.

3. Oversees the proper function of all emergency systems.

4. Manages snow and ice removal from community property.

5. Maintains appropriate lighting in all public areas.

6. Maintains tools in clean and safe condition.
