Position Title: Parts and Accessories Value Stream Manager
Position Summary:
Working across functions, establish a clear growth strategy while embracing digital platforms to accelerate both growth and performance to create a world class level Parts and Accessories organization.
Manages, directs and coordinates overall Parts and Accessories value stream(s) operations.
Works closely with Product Managers and Sales Team to develop stocking, delivery, and cost solutions to optimize revenue and margin within the Value Stream.
Monitors the profitability of the product lines in their area, and manages volume, payroll, and all other expense and variance categories to stabilize and maximize the gross margin.
Assures that on-time delivery and quality is maintained at levels to meet the top tier of the customer’s supplier ratings.

Accountability for value stream performance resides with the Value Stream Manager and s/he must accomplish the objectives through leadership, clear communication of objectives and goals, and positive employee engagement in our continuous improvement culture.

Essential Functions:
Create a safe work environment.
Leads the Value Stream to attain all operational goals in safety, quality, cost of production, cost of purchasing, inventory accuracy, delivery costs, and delivery performance.
Leads the creation and implementation of tactical plans to achieve VSG’s Strategic Vision.
Extends VSG’s Strategic Vision to production leaders, supervisors, and team members.
Continuously works to reduce product net costs.
Leads efficient use of capital spending and utilization.
Consistently exceeds customer expectations for product delivery and quality.
Provides training and leadership and represents a positive, enthusiastic role model so as to create a positive place to work.
Ensures the application of VSG Policies to manufacturing operations.
Participates in long-range plant expansion, conversion, equipment, and workforce planning.
Reviews and approves recommendations of production leaders and supervisors in matters of personnel.
Represents VSG in the community and promotes the organization’s goodwill and interests in community activities.
Coaches team leaders and supervisors on leadership development and assists in creating development and training plans.
Provides performance feedback and develops succession plan for area(s) of responsibility.
Works with Corporate and Facility support services, such as I.T., Human Resources/Training, Quality, Accounting/Finance and Maintenance to acquire and coordinate needed services for specific areas of responsibility.
Occasional travel may be required.
Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
Accountable for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in assigned area.
Responsible for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including a self-assessment and report to management.
Accountable for developing and monitoring processes and practices necessary for legal and ethical compliance in assigned area.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business administration or in a pertinent technical field.
Eight or more years of diverse management experience including work with production, accounting, information systems, materials planning, logistics, human resources, engineering and purchasing.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated successful performance in complex machining and assembly manufacturing environment, inventory management, cost analysis, warehousing and logistics.
Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and manage the profitability of a product line under a P&L structure.
This includes the ability to present results, priorities, and actions, and to engage the work team to achieve those priorities.
Working knowledge of commonly used business software products such as spreadsheets, word processing and database management.
Demonstrated successful leadership in driving performance through lean and continuous improvement methodology.
Visual management systems, metrics, and employee engagement.
Must have career history characterized by strong employers operating in growth environments, stability in employment and success in assignments.
Must have history of impeccable integrity, ethics and fair play.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
