The Senior Manager, Franchise Development manages large-scale global strategic planning across the franchise.
These key initiatives have a goal of driving the Consumer Products, Games and Publishing businesses.
You will report to the Director, Global Franchise Development.Responsibilities : Use insights to build global strategy to drive overall business results, including positioning, competitive analysis, go-to-market approach & Franchise Program roadmapServe as portfolio champion within segment, collaborating with several disciplines to unite the vision and execution including Retail Brand Development, Marketing Strategy, PR/Comms, Synergy, Global Product Creation, Legal/Business Affairs, Finance, regional counterparts & moreSupport global Commercialization, Publishing & Games teams with strategy development, licensee relationships, pitches and global retail planningCreate annual Franchise Program calendar, including partnering with the Marketing Strategy team on development of campaigns to support Franchise Programs, global tool kits, social media content strategy, branded activations and marketing partnershipsCreate and support plans for major product collaboration launches, in the fashion space and in partnership with Commercialization teamLead ongoing engagement with global franchise counterparts to share strategies, best practices and planning rhythmFranchise partner to Global Product Creation team, generating strategic vision to inform global briefs for bi-annual development of style, branding & packaging guidesCommunicate to licensees, retailers, brands & internals as it relatesto portfolio (large-scale pitches, Sales Meetings), presenting to a wider groupDevelop tailored global pitch materials for both our teams and licensees/partnersManage portfolio budgetPartner across global franchise team to develop strategies and programs that meet both individual franchise objectives and larger initiative goalsManage cross brand initiatives, with a focus on Disney 100, Muppets, games IPBasic Qualifications : Passion for Disney and the brand’s relevancy across demos10 years prior brand management, retail marketing, franchise strategy development and marketing experience with global consumer products organization3+ years experience in fashion brand marketing (at fashion house, fashion retail headquarters, licensor with fashion category focus)Devoted pop-culturist (art, fashion, tech) with the ability to track trends, brand marketing initiatives and partnershipsKnowledgeable across social media platforms, ability to demonstrate social marketing fluency with experience driving results via influencer campaigns & partnershipsMust succeed in a creative and diverse environmentExperience within advertising/promotions/events & PRExperience developing partnerships and managing high-profile projectsExperience across all consumer demos (Infant, Kids, YA, Adults, with honed skills marketing to Gen Z & MillenialsBudget management skillsCross-category experienceBusiness analysis experience developing strategic efforts to support findingsFlexible to fast pace and changing environmentRequired Education : BA or BS required in Marketing or Business Additional Information : Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
