Whether managing a theme park, building a cruise ship, producing a new toy, publishing a book, or creating an online adventure, we want to be able to give our fans and customers the best Disney experience possible.The Director, Business Planning will act as key business partner to executive leaders for assigned Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing (CPGP) lines of business, leading a team responsible for the identification, evaluation, and development of key strategic and operational growth initiatives, supporting the Five Year Plan process and strategic planning function for the assigned businesses, and, in partnership with the VP, Business Planning, supporting the development of the consolidated CPGP Five Year Plan.Responsibilities : Strategically lead highly complex business planning and development work/projectsPartner closely with executive leaders across CPGP, as well as key stakeholders across DPEP and TWDC, to analyze and address significant business and operational opportunities and challengesDevelop supporting analyses, including financial/analytical models to evaluate and support potential strategic opportunities (e.G.
new business models, geographic expansion, category white space)Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key recommendations to senior level executivesFollow up as needed on strategic opportunities and initiatives to ensure appropriate operationalization and executionSupport assigned CPGP businesses in the creation of their respective annual Five Year PlansRecruit, lead, develop and mentor a high performing, collaborative teamBasic Qualifications : Minimum 8 years of experience in retail/product strategy, management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or private equityExecutive presence with exceptional ability to influence and drive decisions within a matrix organizationDemonstrated ability to lead and drive work across cross functional teamsProven ability to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels across an organizationDemonstrated ability to lead a team, including prioritizing work and driving high level outputStrategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needsPreferred Qualifications: Experience in and/or passion for Licensing, Retail, Publishing, Interactive Experiences or Gaming industriesPreferred Education : MBA from a top-tier schoolAdditional Information : CPGPJOBS #DPEPFLA
